Matt Cohen is a San Francisco Bay area based sports photographer specializing in rodeo. Current/past clients include ESPN, 20th Century Fox, Wrangler, Cinch, Best Ever Pads, CSI Saddle Pads, Yeti Coolers, Cactus Ropes, the Discovery Channel, the Denver Post, Vespa/Piaggio, the San Jose Mercury News, Resident Advisor, and many more. His pictures regularly run in ads, major magazines, newspapers and websites worldwide.

Favorite sports to shoot include rodeo, football (both kinds) and hockey. Least favorite is baseball, but don’t get him started.

  1. thanks for that link. i was just looking at the “best of” lists for their individual photographers, so this fits in with that.

    although that rodeo picture makes me mad, and not in a good way.

In the spirit of constructive criticism which we know you both embrace: if you guys are serious about the podcasting, fix your levels, your mike setup, or whatever else is making Matt loud and Ryu quiet. This is basic. We can hear Matt; we can’t hear Ryu nearly as well, so we’re fiddling with the volume all the time. Right now, the audio is a throwaway.

  3. Great show guys. Have just started right from episode 1 so now on episode 9. Just wondered if and when you have interviewed a photographer specialising in Motorsport. Someone like Darren Heath or Jakob Ebray would be awsome. Looking forward to getting all caught up on the episodes. Keep up the great work. Dave.
