Matt talks about good and bad football games, and after 4.5 years finally qualified for his PRCA photographer’s card. Ryu shot a disappointing England vs Poland match and some Champions League matches.
Ryu and Matt talk about emotion, and the importance of capturing it and not confusing it with exertion.
Training Ground will now be split off from the podcast, and will run approximately two weeks after the podcast.
Our October 2013 themed competition was “Emotionally Flawed“
The November 2013 themed competition is “Action Like an Adult”. Goto our BLFS flickr group page for competition rules and to enter.
Our new segment where we say good things about sports photographs is called Cross-Counter. Ryu picked this rally picture by Victor R. Caivano and Matt went with an emotion picture from Charlie Neibergall.
We are going to add another competition to the mix, a sports portrait series with a longer deadline. More info in the Flickr group soon.
Special thanks to…
